ProPhase pump

The Schenck Process ProPhase pump, is the standard dense phase pump configuration and is a simple, effective and highly reliable method of conveying material from a single collection point to either single or multiple reception hoppers. It can operate in multiple modes, including batch or a continuous system. Equally suited to transfer either from storage into a process or from a process into storage. 

Systems can operate at temperatures up to 480ºC with throughput rates up to 100 t/hr and distances up to 500 meters. The inherent simplicity of the ProDV Dome Valve, the only moving part in the Schenck Process dense phase pump system ensures the overall system reliability and low maintenance operation.

Used for a range of materials, including 

• detergent ingredients 
• alumina
• cement
• nonferrous concentrate 
• fly ash
• gypsum 
• sand

Standard Fabrication

The ProPhase Pump assemblies are supplied complete with ProDV Dome Valves on the inlet, outlet and vent positions, electro-pneumatic controls, air management module and instrumentation, pre-wired and pre-piped, ready for connection to  electrical supplies and compressed air, nitrogen or CO2.  Connection to a suitable vent pipeline is also required. 

Vessels can be manufactured to most international pressure vessel codes and designed for a working pressure of 7 Barg standard. Special designs are available on request.

• Standard vessel material is Carbon-Steel, with coatings and Stainless-Steel grades available on request 
• Pumps are free-standing, special foundations are not required.
• Available with PhasiQ controller or can be controlled by plant PLC 
• ATEX-compatible versions are available on request
