Overview

Pneumatic conveying systems use significant amounts of compressed air, and in time can become sub optimal in their performance, resulting in wasted energy or reduced performance.

Very few systems are fitted with flow meters from new, so the loss of efficiency often goes unnoticed for long periods of time, costing money and damaging the environment.

Qlar, in our mission to improve the sustainability of our customers operations, have designed the e-Dense meter specifically to solve this problem, by continuously monitoring the condition of the pneumatic conveying system to allow for frequent re-optimisation by the customer or by our experts.

The e-Dense meter can also connect to our CONiQ Cloud digital services, for deeper analytics of performance in summary format for the plant manager, or detailed analysis for the process or plant engineer.

The flow meter can be installed permanently for long term condition monitoring and even closed loop control or used temporarily as a service and first setup tool, depending on the customer’s needs.

Dense Phase Conveying Data Capture

With the addition of an optional pressure transmitter to the existing dense phase conveying vessel, performance data can be gained. Basic performance data can be displayed and logged by the e-Dense meter itself, more advanced data is logged for analysis in the office

CONiQ Cloud Connection

With the addition of an optional pressure transmitter and gateway panel, the flow meter can be connected to the CONiQ Cloud via the internet.

Dense phase conveying flow and pressure data are harvested, analysed, and stored automatically. Key Performance indicators can be displayed, and a simple traffic light dashboard allows the performance of a dense phase machine to be monitored.

This can be a permanent connection or a temporary for servicing.
