Vibrating discharge feeders are used in vibration technology to remove granular items and bulk material from storage and transport them to the next stage.
They are also used for feeding purposes on conveyor belts and in sorting screens.
They are driven by vibratory feeders, most commonly located to the side of the vibrating discharge feeder. As loads change, the conveying rates can be regulated by changing settings. A frequency converter allows for continuously variable settings and adjustments.
Principle of conveying for the vibrating discharge feeder:
The principle is based on very small throws. The chute runs in parallel at an angle of 20 to 45 degrees to the horizontal. The bulk items are thereby thrown up at an angle and, due to the trajectory parabola, end up near the chute outlet. The process is repeated and a layer of bulk material builds up at the chute outlet, ensuring a continuous flow of material.
Progress is determined by the vibration direction, frequency of vibration, vibration amplitude, chute angle and bulk material properties.
Special feature: interchangeable inserts made from wear-resistant material for a long service life.
Assembly: either on supports, using a suspension system, or a combination of the two.
