Belt weighers are available in two different versions: multi-roller or single-roller.

Both are suited to bulk materials which flow easily and don’t stick. They are mainly used to measure mass flows in production processes, e.g. in stone quarries or when loading ships.

There are several benefits of the single-roller belt weigher:
  • Low cost
  • Easy to integrate in existing processes

Unlike multi-roller belt weighers, single-roller versions involve no additional deflection of force for the measuring equipment, which of course makes them less accurate.
