Participation in tree planting campaign #Einheitsbuddeln on German Unity Day
As part of the ‘Einheitsbuddeln’ tree planting campaign on German Unity Day, Schenck Process is donating more than 500 trees for the environment. The newly founded, annual campaign was initiated by Schleswig-Holstein in cooperation with their local forestry. Its aim is to rebuild our forests and thus positively contribute to our climate.
Schenck Process supports ‘Einheitsbuddeln’ by donating money to plant trees for every employee at their Darmstadt location. In addition, they provided seedlings for their employees to actively participate in the campaign. On today’s Wednesday, Schenck Process distributed the seedlings to interested employees. In the coming days they will find a new home in Darmstadt and surrounding areas. The donated trees will soon start growing in the forests of Schleswig-Holstein.
